SHIROCCO MARE DELIVERS AT FIRST ATTEMPT
BABY BLUESKY (Shirocco) made her racecourse debut a winning one when taking the two mile bumper at Perth for breeder and trainer Alistair Whillans.
The five-year-old tracked the leader closely and led from two furlongs out under Craig Nichol. Driven clear inside the final furlong, she ran on well to win by two and a quarter lengths.
Baby Bluesky runs in the colours of Mrs LM Whillans and was bred out of Lady Bluesky, who won ten races for connections.
