ACCLAMATION TWO-YEAR-OLD GAINS MAIDEN WIN

Acclamation

ANNIEMATION (Acclamation) made his second start a winning one, when taking the seven furlong maiden at Musselburgh on July 23rd.

A respectable fifth on debut last month, the two-year-old was reunited with Jack Garritty, who rode him to track the leaders and produced a challenge two furlongs from home. Leading inside the final furlong, he ran on well to win by a length and three quarters, relegating the favourite to second.

Trained by Stella Barclay for Will Buckley, Anniemation was bred by Ballyphilip Stud out of a winning half-sister to dual Stakes winner Percolator.
